Rachel Fiske

I am a fine artist, designer, and illustrator living and working in Colorado. I was born and raised here, and yes, it is inspiringly beautiful. I graduated from Colorado Mesa University with 2 BFAs in studio art and graphic design.

My art is a journey. It was never about the finished piece, I’ve always been more interested in the process it took to get there. I do a little of everything because I feel like learning those processes helps to inspire and influence my main work which is done primarily in ceramic and digital medias. I use ceramics to create creatures that I wish to see, touch, or generally interact with, and I use digital media to explore the environments that I can’t explore in real life.

Each piece that I make becomes a part of me and an influence on every piece that follows. Life and my art is a journey.
